Worlds Most Expensive 56 F100

If You Got The Money Honey

Two-weeks ago I was on World Talk Radio and had mentioned that a '56 Ford F-100 had gone through Barrett Jackson at a 100-grand. Who could have possibly known that...

Joe McPherson's '56 Big-Window would sell for $380,000 on June 14, 2008? The powerplant in Joe's '56 is a SOHC 427 Ford. I've got a bunch of old Fords, Chevys, and even a Dodge or two, so it's obvious I'm pretty neutral on brand bashing... But I had to laugh when one of my hardcore Ford Freak buddies said "it would have only brought a hunert-grand if had a Chevy in it." I figure my "Barn Find" '56 must be worth about $200,000 grand. I'm putting new plugs in it this weekend, so I'm gonna hafta add about a grand, don't you think?
