Primer Crimes From Satan's Rust Bucket

It's pretty bad when I can spot a real dog with just a few crummy photos on the Internet. Nevertheless the supply of people that fall for a rusty heap thinly veiled under primer never seems to dry up.

After I checked out our forums on here to see if there were any new posts, I moved onto checking out some trucks that were for sale on the Internet. Holy Moly, good golly Miss Molly, you should have seen some of the rusted junk people were trying to sell. For you folks that are new to the classic truck game, and are shopping for an old pickup, I thought I would list some pointers on what to look out for. Starting with the trucks that are listed for low-buck, or sometimes good money, be on the lookout for a truck that is in fresh primer. The really bad ones usually have every single thing like the bumpers, grille, completely doused in primer. The truck that inspired me to post this blog had primer overspray on the tailight lenses, window glass, and even the license plate. Inside the cab was fresh primer, but there was no hiding the rust holes... Big enough to Drive Tiger Wood's Mom's Buick through.
