We sent out the gauge cluster from the '52 Pontiac dash we grafted into our F-1 to Classic Instruments' Custom Shop and thought we'd give you guys a sneak peek at the end results. We'll cover the full install as well as highlight the Custom Shop in a future issue of CCT.
Not only can they match the old numbers and lettering, they can add features to the old gauges as well. For example, you'll notice that we changed the faces of the Battery, Oil, and Water gauges to give a more accurate reading. We also converted the speedo into a tach so 30mph on the speedo is actually 3,000rpm.
