Here's the Beef! Not bad for $895.00, I had the pros at Gearstar Performance Transmissions in Akron, Ohio rebuild and beef the TH350 that came out of my '79 C10 Big10, so I can install in my '53 F-100.
All Gearstar transmissions come equipped with internal parts that are improved over stock. For anyone that wants a custom built Turbo Hydramatic 350 transmission for under a thousand bucks, my friends at Gearstar are running the sale of the century. Not only is the price way below what one would normally expect to pay, they didn't compromise on the quality. The beefed internals of the Level 1 Gearstar TH350 are still the same made in USA, Alto frictions, and the work is being done by the same technicians that build Gearstar's higher end Level 2-4 transmissions.
